The Benefits of Joining an AVCC Affiliated Club
Low national membership subscription fee ($120 in 2024) (equivalent to approximately 1 cappuccino every 2 weeks). Additional state and club fees result in variable joining fees for affiliated clubs.
All members covered equally by insurance policy including those members over 65 years old (20% of current AVCC financial members). Insurance coverage for members 80 and over subject to approval. Insurance coverage for volunteers and officials.
No restriction on scheduling of race events. Many affiliated clubs race every week or more frequently.
All race entry fees retained by club or state organisation. No national levy on states or clubs for holding an event.
Social, friendly racing without the complexities of elite level sport or junior development programs.
